The JCM Team is proud to publish the October Issue of the Joomla Community Magazine.

Featured this month an article kicking off the brand new partnership with Google, within their Open Source CMS Fund Program and introducing the work done on the Lazy-Loading for Joomla 4.

Anja de Crom is the top author of the month with four articles this month. Several topics treated: from an interview to Marianela Queme, just elected as Marketing & Communications Department Coordinator, to an invitation to join the "Joomla Overrides Challenge", from a list of resources full of video tutorials about Joomla, to the "Progress review" after the Forum for the Future.

Accessibility has two voices this month: the Joomla Accessibility Team introduced the accessibility testing and Brian Teeman brought the importance of accessibility while using images on our websites.

John Rampton highlighted how the speed of a website can impact sales with some tips to improve the performances.

Donata Kalnenaite continued the Privacy series, focussing on the "Privacy by Design" principle, recommended by the GDPR.

SD Williams shared a report of the JoomlaDay Chicago held on October 17 and Patrick Jackson reported the activity of the global Pizza Bugs and Fun 2020 held on the same day.

Alessandro Lumaca instead explained how testing can improve the quality of Joomla as a software.

To complete this issue Jaz Parkyn provided the "Community Openings", highlighting some of the open roles throughout the project.
